View Full Version : The "# of bikes..." thread

I am struck by that thread at the number of high-end bikes people have. Many people have a Merlin AND a Serotta AND a Seven, etc.
Just a thought, but it seems like many people own the best of many brands. It would be curious to hear comparisons between them.
I guess it is like comparing a Ferrari to a Lamborghini.
Not much better to do today so I hang out here.....

And what a fine place to hang out it is...... Puts a major dent into productivity though...

Or like comparing girlfriends.

You should be down here.......I hear Steve in Saratoga is still wearing booties to commute. (ALthough he tells me he drank up all the Serotta beer without saving any for me)

I live in Minneapolis. In spite of the rotten weather, it is a very livable city. I guess you need to be a Midwesterner to like it. But I ask myself your question with regards to the East every day I work there. Still, I will probably end up moving to Philadelphia.
But I have some sympathy for your thoughts. The last 10 days or so have not been 'cyclist-friendly'..... :crap:
supposed to snow in harrisburg, pa saturday.
