Chris King Classic hub set
28h front and rear
pewter color
130 rear spacing
Shimano 8/9/10

Maybe 500 miles. Perfect working condition. Great cosmetic condition. A few hairline scratches. There was a smudge of tubular glue on the rear but it cleaned up nicely.

I bought these in an almost new wheelset from a Paceline member (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=139275) (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=139275). Rode them a bit and then unlaced them for another project that I will not get to.

$275 shipped in CONUS. Payment by PayPal.

Any normal-sized road skewer will do the job. There are no skewers in the listing.

I'll poke around my shop later today and see if I have some skewers to pass on.

Alrighty, I've got a set of KCNC titanium skewers. They don't have the buttery smooth Dura Ace action but they crazy light, about 50 grams all in. Will toss them in with hubs for $10.

Never understood why CK didn't manufacture skewers. They would sell like mad.

Is it just the lighting, as the hubs look purple and not so pewter?

They are what CK calls pewter. It's grey with a bit of smokey dark purple if the light is right. Its a neat color that seems to blend with just about anything else.

It is my understanding that the Pewter is actually dipped in the Black Anodizing, it is just dipped in for a shorter amount of time. Pewter is actually my favorite color but every time I build up a wheels set I use the Black. I feel like I am getting cheated out of the color durability. I am sure it doesn't matter at all my brain just can't process it.

I believe the pewter color is a specific dye.
For work, I visited K&M anodizing in So Cal. They turn out to be the anodize vendor for CK.
