And this is just in the last four months. But yeah, the sport's totally changed. Way cleaner. Suuuuure.

I would have to ask why did it take almost 7 months to release this information.
Is the UCI really doing all it could to stop doping? Still feels like the new nut has not fallen far from the old tree.

And, like other major sponsors, will Astana withdraw it's sponsorship due to the number of positive results? Doubt it.

I can't believe Vino missed yet another "donation". He really needs to hire a better secretary.

Two things. The development team is a different organization than the WT team; they just happen to be funded by the same source. The rider was not an Astana rider when he tested positive; he joined months after his test.

Astana's main problem is probably sloppy testing of its riders so they can avoid positives like riders on other teams.

That the top riders are just as fast as they were in the early 00's is more damning.

ironically enough, that's "a stimulant which was developed by Merck"... maybe it was just an ill-guided marketing effort

Don't forget the kid on the team that died earlier this year of a stroke in Ecuador. Healthy 19 year olds don't often die of strokes. Their program is super-fishy. I raced against the conti squad and got to see them in action first-hand. Yuck.

He seems like a nice fellow and all, and he sort of won the Tour by default, but ya gotta wonder about Nibs...
