Just wondering what it takes to be able to post in the classified section?

I believe you have to read the stickies and the rules.

Sure you can buy whatever you want tho.

30 meaningful contributions to a thread of your choice and been a member for 30 days.;) Running up post counts to get access to the classifieds results in a count reset to zero. It's all spelled out int the classified rules sticky.

I'm kind of surprised and disappointed at the lack of readily available memes on this topic..

(Although I did omitted a couple good ones with Samuel Jackson, for reasons you can guess)

I am truly sorry that I overlooked the rules, and I beg for your forgiveness. It was an honest mistake and as GOD is my witness it will never happen again. I'm so glad that you chose to respond with such a nice, kind, gentle and welcoming reply.

The problem shouldn't be fixed by "rtfm", but rather make the error a bit more specific. I believe it says "You can't post here for certain reasons", or something as vague as that. I guess this is more of a problem with vBulletin software...

You personally responded to my query about posting in classifieds, so it's evident you're doing your best to accommodate everyone, and thank you for it. Damn vBulletin... :crap:

while i do agree that it would be nice if the error message was more specific, is it really that far fetched that someone with three posts who joins the forum and wishes to use the classifieds not read the sticky rules post in the same section?

not only is the min post=count a rule, but there are numerous other rules that we like posters to adhere to, and hope that everyone has taken a moment to read the rules.

sorry, but i dont buy into the way society expects everyone to be coddled: "sorry you broke the rules, it's not your fault, they werent explained to you explicitly enough." give me a break.

Welcome. Hope you stick around. I think the post was meant to be in good fun, you already had your answer.

I'm waiting for the Sam Jackson Jif commercial. "Choosy Mother.....s choose Jif".

TJ, what's your favorite bike component manufacturers and why?

What chain lube do you use and how often?

What's the best way to maximize the life of your chains and cassettes?

Discuss...
