Wow, I hadn't realized the depth of this mans career. Remarkable. I highly recommend the trailer and will certainly be looking to see the documentary.

Yeah if you are old enough to remember the '70s Glenn Campbell was every where. Didn't appreciate it at the time but have come to really enjoy many of his songs years later.

I've come to realize that the music business is like that. You may be familiar with someone because you hear them sing. But then you find out that they are very involved in a lot of other projects - writing songs for other artists, scores for movies, play in other lesser known bands, etc.

I haven't watched the trailer yet but my soon-to-be FirstWife worked at Capitol Records in Hollywood and Glen was highly regarded as a musician and a wonderful person by everyone. He was most artists' first choice to augment their recordings. Gee, I just remembered how cool it was to attend Nancy Wilson's sessions. She was so nice to everyone present too.

if "FirstWife" = first wife; and, you attended Nancy Wilson sessions, you've held out a long time! Especially if it's Nancy Wilson the first.

To clarify: I was married to FirstWife from 1971-94. SecondWife 2002-forever. :-)

The Wrecking Crew, along with Muscle Shoals are the unsung heroes of American music.

As a singer/songwriter Mr. Campbell is unbeatable... hence the tendency for a drink or two.. or... ;)
