Are the DT Swiss 240s & Hugi DT Swiss 240 hubs the same?

I have a Hugi DT Swiss 240 hubset built into a wheelset. I like how the rear hub can be easily be converted between 130mm & 135mm spacing.

Wondering how much different the DT Swiss 240s rear hub is compared to the Hugi 240.

I'm not sure if it depends on the year, but I was able to upgrade my old Hugi to a 36 star ratchet, so all the internals must be the same. It was missing a spring though, and dt swiss sent me one.(They have really great customer service.)
In fact, I just upgraded my disc 240s hubs to through-bolt...super easy.

You can e-mail them at: techusa@dtswiss.com

I converted some 135 DT Swiss 240s hubs for road use recently, and it was easy (just switching end caps). I assume it is exactly the same as doing it with the Hugi, though I can't confirm that both use the exact same parts. The parts for thE DT Swiss 240s are widely available.

@OP: Depends on the hub. The older, silver Hugi hubs? Nope. The newer black Hugi hubs? Essentially.

Got a set of Hugi 240 hubs for free at DCCX 'cause everyone looked at the 26er non-disc wheels in the bin o free stuff and passed. Changed out the FH body and NDS axle cap, and now they're laced into a gravel road/training wheelset.

I have the silver Hugi 240 hubs. The hubs spin very nice and can be used for both 130mm & 135mm.

My question should have been ... can the DT Swiss 240s rear hub be used for both 130mm & 135mm spacing?
