glorious weekend here in the NYC area. finally got out there with the Marinoni for some real miles. bike rides smooth as silk. there is something about a steel fork that is just fantastic; they may weigh a little more, but the feel is something else entirely from carbon. the '15 campy stuff is really very nice, shifting is smooth, yet crisp and positive. no complaints at all.

No photos.
Cold foggy ride on Sat. Brrr
Chilly, less foggy ride on Sunday. But did roll in the door after 3.5 hours on Sunday and the rain started 15 minutes later! Got lucky esp since 1/2 the group rode our fender less bikes !

Colorful… not.

But still a beautiful ride yesterday.

After all, anything out on the road is a bit more glorious than the view from my rollers...

Visiting my girlfriend's family in Western MA, I took what I thought would be a nice, easy road ride with some dirt. Boy, I was glad I brought my cross bike (my road bike has full fenders right now and doesn't fit in her trunk). The route ended up including a brutal unimproved road that I walked a decent part of and some really steep climbs where my CX bike's 34/32 really came in handy.

After whining to the forum on Saturday morning about it being too cold, I did get out and ride.

I enjoy riding in 75 degree weather and am really contemplating moving somewhere warmer.

But, also got out and rode today, and hoping I can get out and ride either tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm within site of my mileage goal now for the year, so I just have to keep turning the pedals and taking advantage of any opportunity to ride that I can.

Weather was decent in the 40s and sunshine yesterday so I went for a solo spin. Boy it was windy and the wind was cold despite the temp in the 40s. Nonetheless, can't complain too much for such a good ride with the season tapering off.
