Not sure you need a new crankset; I've run 10s Campy cranks/rings with pre-2015 11 speed without issue.

C11 cassettes run on all 9/10/11 Campy freehubs -- the Campy freehub has remained unchanged for quite some time (OldPotatoe can give the specific dates, probably up to the hour and minute:))

Yup, old crankset will work just fine.

Thanks Guys,

Keeping the old cranks will make the equation a lot cheaper and I quite like them.

If you really want to do the changeover for minimal $, you can use your 10 spd RD, with a bit of work on the fastening bolt.

'Dave', who still posts here occasionally, has a post from a few years ago about how to do it.

The Rd has done 7 years hard labour and needs to good rest. I will put it in the parts bin for now

10 speed FD should work, as well.

I will just but new deraileurs.

So I am assuming the current 11 speed crankset is fine with the 2015 chorus stuff. Just want to make sure as I do have one of these.

Cheers and thanks for all the help

I'm not even certain of that... others have claimed that it worked without modification. Not to doubt Dave, he's said some brilliant stuff both here and on other forums... but there are definitely conflicting reports out there in regards to using a 10speed RD with 11speed Campy.

The new shifters should come with housing and cables.

'Need' only shifters and ders, cogset and chain and a 11s big chainring altho with 11s, 2015, the 10s will probably work. No FH required ala shimano, spam

Speaking of being a shimanoite. I recently built up a bike with 10spd Centaur. Quickly fell in love with the option to dump the cassette with one swift shift. Do the new Campagnolo mechanical groups have that option? Went back to my 7900 bike and instantly missed the thumb shift and cassette dropping Hahaha.

Everything Chorus and above has that option in the current lineup.

Most cost effective solution is Chrous shifters with all the other bits being Athena.
