Lemond Poprad: Black or silver

Sure everyone here knows the drill. Having wheelsets and parts around the house inevitably leads to start thinking that N + 1 is just a few things away. So I was given a heads-up for a Poprad in my size right in my neighborhood. Went to check it and bought it. :help:

Anyways, I have around an all black wheelset and all silver wheelset. I have both silver and black thomson bits and silver and black handlebars. :)

Would you go silver or black? Parts are mostly silver ultegra 6600 but I also have grey ultegra 6600. FWIW saddle will be black and tape will be white ( also in hand )

So...silver or black?

I have that same bike with black wheels and silver 7700, looks great. I don't think I good go over to silver wheels and feel good about it. I wish I had a picture to share.

maybe the X factor is the color of the brake calipers you dont have yet.....BTW i have an abundance of cantis in silver

For that bike, green panels on white, I'd go with black. For just about any of the other color combinations, I'd go with silver.

Enjoy it, though! They're great bikes/frames.

Yep, vav 57 cm. Wonderful stiff light frame. I loved that frame.

I like the black and silver combo.

Not a great shot, but you can see that I like overall black with blue panels. Silver wheels and matching Ultegra 6600 shifters/derailleurs.
