Why did I choose to work from home while the roof is being replaced?

Good thing you are getting your roof repaired. It will help keep out Ebola.

Road crew is jackhammering out in front of my place today. The effect is pretty much the same.

Must be the season. ..my neighbor is having there front lawn torn up and landscaping with interlocking stones being done, and at the same time...my street is being ripped apart for re - paving. ..nothing but noise.

I once had a saxophone/improv lesson with well-known saxophonist on the same day that his roof was being redone. His studio was up in the attic of his house, and we had nail guns pounding the entire hour. It's not so easy to improvise over chord changes with piano accompaniment when the rhythm section can't keep time!

Ever been home while a wood floor was being installed? A headache in 10 minutes... I pulled out my gun range ear protection...the installer was jealous..

OP... At least you're not doing the roof yourself...

And here I was thinking it would be a thread about solving the problem of squirrels eating heirloom tomatoes from the garden. Bam! Bam! Bam! Eat the squirrel. Problem solved.
