Anyone know what would be involved to convert DA 7850 wheelset from 9/10 sp to 11 sp? Is it possible to convert? Thanks

You can't unfortunately. Seems like the only hubs that can be converted are those that can take either campy or shimano freehubs without redishing (DT Swiss/Mavic).

Sorry, but cannot be done. Use 10 of 11, 11s cogs, Wheels manufacturing 11s accelerator cogset but cannot swap the FH body to a 11s one.

Bummer. I haven't switched to 11 sp yet but at least wanted the ability to convert later. Someone was offering a set at a good price so that is probably part of the reason for the good deal. Thanks!

there's a post on WW about this:

if you're handy with machining... :)

Probably best I stay away from machine tools. I like my fingers attached to my hands.

With the dollar strong right now, you can buy a new pair of 9000 C24's from Wiggle (http://www.wiggle.com/0-dura-ace-9000-c24-clincher-wheelset-2014/) for about $760. Then you can forget about wheels, you own the best.

And in 3 or so years when you break a spoke or wear out/wack a rim, you can buy a new wheelset..and use these really nice hubs as pen holders.

9000 hubs, really nice tubeless ready rims, off the shelf spokes, same weight..not throw away..Tangent, I know but the above...yikes.
