Hoping to identify a tubular hoop model/mfg which is absent of any stickers or stamps on a friends bike. The rim has a light blue/grey anodize finish to it and was built in the late 1990'a around some 90's Record hubs .

I dont think its anything from Mavic as they typically have a rounded edge to the brake surface? These have a sharper edge to them.

Thanks for the ID help!

My Reflexes from that period have a sharp transition to the machined brake surface, similar to that in your pictures. Mine are medium/dark gray.

I believe it is a Mavic. I have this rim from similar era. I have also seen this rim one other time laced to 7400 hubs.

Looks like old Reflexes I once owned, with the bluish anodized finish.

Every part on that half of the bike is perfect. Happen to have a picture of the other half?

I'd agree with this. I had a set of Reflex clinchers that looked almost exactly like that.

Thanks all for the assessment and ID- sounding like they could be Mavic hoops after all.

Yeah, I would prefer silver traditional looking bars if it were mine but he'll likely want to just sell as is.
