PL,

A question about Campy 11 Brakesets.

Other than the obvious printed markings, is there any difference in the construction, material and weight of a Record 11 Brakeset and that of a Super Record 11 Brakeset ?

I was looking at both of mine that have white logos and couldn't detect any difference.

Campy brethren, can you shed some brake light, please.

Do the Record 11 calipers have ti hardware?

I think they dumbed down everything when they introduced SR11...Record 10 had ti, Chorus 10 had bearings and no exposed bolt heads. Chorus 11 got exposed bolt heads and no bearings.

SUPER RECORD SKELETON BRAKES
brake-pad height adjustment ratio: 40÷50 mm (measured from brake fixing-bolt to brake-shoe-nut) - ball bearings - light alloy and titanium hardware - brake pads orbital adjustment - lightened rear brake - skeletonized arms - brake pad with elastomer compound with reinforcement in aramid fiber and silica - optional: front and rear dual-pivot brake (297 g)

RECORD SKELETON BRAKES
brake-pad height adjustment ratio: 40÷50 mm (measured from brake fixing-bolt to brake-shoe-nut) - ball bearings - light alloy hardware - brake pads orbital adjustment - lightened rear brake - skeletonized arms - brake pad with elastomer compound with reinforcement in aramid fiber and silica - optional: front and rear dual-pivot brake (303 g)

So, difference is a little Ti, and 6 grams
