Based on the bike you usually grab for first, if the three main tubes are mainly AL, at what point do you think weight differences matter in a bike? Ignore differences in whether the weight is rotational or not.

weight matters if you use it as an excuse.

If I could lose 5 plus lbs on my frame (ME) I would definitely be faster!!!!!!

She loves her bike regardless of what set of wheels is on it and her only comment is that the bike is great. She went from Campy/Sun tubies to a set of 1100 gram Paves and she knew in the first 200 feet of riding the bike that it was "all good". I am a believer in reducing rotational weight.

I have lost 15 lbs or so over the winter. We have trained very hard, we are stronger. We are not any faster, rides just gets easier.
