So, I was about to bite the Bullet and get a new Rapha Cross jersey on ebay...
Looked on the Rapha site to see sizing. And then I saw the new design. And I REALLY like it. Enough for me NOT to buy the one on ebay. So what do you guys think? I've really never seen anything like it before.

Do you get a bowl of soup with jersey? Oh, it looks good on you though...

JPow wears one in blue with pink and of course the stripes.

Reminds me a bit of the Danny Shane stuff. I dig it.

I'd think you'd want to wear the grungiest ratty jersey you have for cross, since it is likely to get dirty. I've never raced it, so I don't know... just seems that way to me, unless you're sponsored.

Tough to go wrong with something argyle-esque.

I really liked their old Rapha Cross kit from a few years back. Understated design with small hits of the team colors

A few days ago while driving to work I encountered (notice I did not say I "saw") a cyclist with black shorts and a black top. It was really difficult to pick him out from the rest of the visual clutter. IMO all-black cycling kit is not a wise color scheme.

I wonder if the guys and gals at The Athletic had anything to do with this Rapha cross kit. Looks very reminiscent of a lot of their stuff (which is definitely a good thing).

You'd need balls of steel to wear that IMO

Now that, my friend, is hilarious. Nice reference, and my vote for post of the day. The Dangerfield face makes it.

I like it a lot. Their cross branding has been on point for a while now. The Rapha Focus and now JPow's team kits look great in the scrum.

Like the jersey even though I think the golf comparisons are spot on.

(If Rapha's marketing folks were on the ball they would post a 10% off code in every Rapha thread someone starts on the PL because I bet each one generates $1000 in sales.)

I was looking to see if I have a "puke" emoticon to describe my opinion of both the Danny Shane designs and this Ralpha jersey. I need to download one soon.

When I went to school a kid would have been beaten up on the playground for wearing something like that.
God I miss those days.

IME mud washes out pretty well from everything except stark white.

I am usually a big Rapha fan.... BUT, that thing is hideous !!!! I guess it's like they say.... Beauty is in the mind of the beholder....

Buy it, wear it, get it dirty. Having one loud item in your wardrobe is a good thing. Besides, what else are you gonna wear for cross?

If JPow is wearing it no one is going to see the front anyways.

Nice pick of the commuter racer. Maybe give Alison Sydor a little credit for that fantastic photo.

The kit ties back to the Rapha Supercross Branding. It's cool, let your cross flag fly high

It looks like something the Mary Kay Cycling Team would wear.

Done, and right you are; I should have credited her at the outset. More of Alison's pics of that event here:
