I've read alot of post about people wanting
specific shape bars. theoretically could
calfee who already does stuff like this make
something one off. like old cinelli's or what ever.

is melding carbon stems to already manufactured carbon bars. You send the exact bar with stem clamped in the position that you have tried and accepted and they wrapthem together. I think too their ergo bar is done in similar fashion.
