I was looking over the results from Paris-Nice and saw the picture of Floyd climbing with some CSC riders around him. At first, I thought he was wearing some kind of combination jersey that had yellow sleeves representing the yellow jersey along with his regular Phonak team jersey. Then I realized that he is wearing a vest over the his leader's jersey.
This got me thinking about what clothing is given to the current leader on GC. I know they supply long and short sleeve versions of the jersey, but it seems like it would be good to give them a vest as well. I assume that one of the reasons for having the different jerseys is to help set you apart from the other riders, but if you are wearing your team vest then it makes it a little harder to locate one of the jersey wearers.
