Need some help with the history Campy Chorus seatposts.

I remember the aero steel seatposts, then a Ti seatpost and finally the carbon fiber seatpost.

Did Campy ever make a round Steel or Aluminum seatpost between the aero Steel and carbon fiber seatpost with similar graphics as the Ti seatpost?

EDIT: my previous info was wrong...

I think the aero posts were Aluminum.

A small bit of google shows the first round posts were steel, until they were Ti, then Carbon. Looks like the Centaur steel posts were basically just rebadged Chorus from the previous year(s).

I purchased 8 steel Chorus seatposts on eBay a few years ago. The seller said they came with the Chorus gruppo but no one wanted a steel seatpost. All the seatposts were in their original boxes with a seatpost binder bolt.

I more than doubled my money by reselling them on eBay.

This is why I recall:

Alloy aero
Steel round (maybe a few years and then became Daytona)
Alloy round (moved to Daytona/centaur after a very short time. Maybe only in catalog pics...)
Titanium round (was the prior record post when record went carbon)
Carbon round (was the old record post when record got the carbon clamp)

I think the steel, alloy and ti round posts all had the rear shield with chorus under it.

The carbon one got the updated "block logo" on each side.

This could be ll wrong as I am going off memory.

Weigle the inside of your Campag. steel seatpost because they will rust.
