I am thinking of making some Pacenti Cycle Design kits - does anyone here have any experience with Starlight Apparel?

Thanks for the feedback. What brands should I considering? I'd prefer to do something domestic and very good / excellent quality...

Isn't TexMarket not domestic?
JL Velo's stuff looks quite good. They did stuff for PB2012, Vanderkitten, Ritte. Made in US. Recycled fibers available.

Voler makes our team kits. The high end stuff is reasonably priced and good quality. I think that Pearl Izumi used to do custom kits but I am not sure anymore. Both are based in the USA.

We've used Voler for years and in the last couple I think they've really stepped things up in terms of quality of pad and fabric. I'm not sure this applies to you but I also like Voler's web store, they look as if they will sell the kits directly on their website presumably with you getting a cut.

Agreed on the uptick in quality - I would not have recommended their products from 10 years ago, which was the last time we used them before these more recent 2 years. The pad is much better as is the fabric.

Sugoi - They used to be "domestic" but now they've been bought by a conglomerate and market internationally, not sure they're what your looking for but I like their stuff -- can't speak for their custom ordering but we're looking at them for next year's century kit.
+1 on Voler --- they're rocking the custom market these days!

My suggestion is never to go cheap on something that reflects your brand, especially if you wear it yourself!
I like Vermarc, Texmarket and a newer company called Cuore.
Vermarc is great quality but a little tough to deal with.
Texmarket is great to deal with.
Cuore is a sponsor for USA cycling- if you have seen their kits this year they are quite nice. The principal is from Pearl Izumi. He has his own factory.

they are worldwide :)
The spandex bit rather than elastic on the sleeves has a huge vote.
Chamois is quite nice as well.

we used starlight last season...the quality of the stuff is pretty good (with some exceptions) but their customer service is APPALLING. we had issues with zippers breaking, sponsor logos being left off the kit, design printing/alignment issues...you name it. pretty disappointing experience overall.
we switched over to sommerville sports this year and so far (we've had em for a couple weeks) so great. they delivered kit in 4 weeks (instead of 6-8) and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process. Colors were spot on and the quality of the construction and fabrics are some of the nicest I have seen from any custom apparel manufacturer. i highly recommend checking them out.

We've used Verge for our forum kits and I've been please with their quality. Dave did all the interaction with the company, so I can't comment on that end, but I think it went well. I'm pretty sure the company is based in the USA, but don't know about the manufacturing.
Our local club/team used Castelli (I know they're not local) this last time and their kit is really nice.
