Help,

I just bought these bars, and I am hoping they are a shallow drop. Anybody know?

Cinelli 64-40 alloy road bars---xlnt cond---regular drop--40 cm center to center--regular drop--26.0 clamp

Thanks much.

Yes, shallow drop. At least in comparison to the 66's, which were the deepest drop among the old Cinelli road bars. There were also the 63 and the 65 which were slightly deeper and slightly shallower than the 64 (usually labeled as a Giro d'Italia). The 65 was a modified track bend rather than a square bend, beloved by a few riders and disliked by others. It's hard to make it work with modern shift/brake levers.

11.4,

Thats what I was looking for. I love my Giro d'Italia. If the drop is too dramatic; I'll let you know Fixed.

yep, shallow drop.

Everyone used to use them about 10-15 years ago, but I think you'll find the diameter is 26.4mm

Thanks for the link to Bike-Pro, but some of the info is not correct. The bar I was interested in (the Giro) also comes in 26.0 clamp. I now have two. This is understandable, in that this site has been dead or near dead for quite a while.
