Longshot I know, I presume no new pre-builts exist. If you know of any let me know. I bought a set on Ebay and the seller advertised as 650B but they were 650C. I have a vintage MTB I am going to convert.

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

Hi, I have two sets I am not using currently.

1. DT 240s , Velocity Synergy 28 spokes front and rear, 130 OLD. 1450g, Shimano freehub body. $325 shipped.
2. WI High Flange, Synergy 36 spokes front and rear, 130 or 135, I have axles for both. Had it build a few years ago and they just sat here. Those hubs has not been made for a looooooong time. $425 shipped.

Thanks,
Ron

So..the frame is for 26 inch and you are going to put 27.5 inch wheels on there..will the brakes reach?

If the tektro vee brakes I have won't work, there are a couple of choices that will.

or
cane creek direct curve.

Now I just need a wheelset.

You're probably gonna have to rock some randonneuse wheels:

i have a pair of synergy 650b to XT hubs (no tires).
i believe they can be used as disc or rim brake but someone here might want to confirm.
asking $250 (they probably have under 200miles on them)

The problem with those is the 130mm rear, I need 135mm.

I have a single Cane Creek direct curve that is not useful to me if you need it.
