it came home to me filthy, well ridden and with some tired components, but it's pretty sweet. going to clean it up this weekend.

Lucky duck! To find a cool Zanc in smaller sizes is super rare. What are the dimensions? That's close to my size too.

i'm itching to get out of work, find a saddle for this and pedals and go for a ride. the components need a little love though, Mirage 9-sp throughout, aside from the crankset. everything seems to shift OK, butthe brakes are definitely sticky. given the unknown history of the bike, a new chain really seems prudent too.

I love Mike's work - wish it were a few cm bigger or else you'd have another bidder fighting against ya for it ;).

There's got to be a story behind this.

Buy a custom frameset, probably $2K or more. And then build it up with a bargain group like 9 spd Mirage. Don't get me wrong, the stuff works well, but that's just an unusual combination.

The train of events that led it into my garage is just as strange. This bike probably has a story to tell.
