Anyone ridden the Kancamagus/Bear Notch Rd. lately?

Thinking of doing a ride from Lincoln to N. Conway via Kanc and Bear Notch, returning through Conway, West Side Rd, Passaconway Rd back to the Kanc.

Anything I should know about current conditions on this route?

I drove the Kanc way back in May and part of the road surface sucked.

I did all of those roads about six weeks ago. There was one very short stretch, I think a few hundred yards, of Kanc west of Bear Notch that was gravel but was that was about it. Again about three weeks ago rode these roads excepting the Bear Notch-Lincoln stretch with no issues.

Rode both this year - no issues with either. You can do Kanc, Bear, Crawford, Franconia, Kinsman, Halls Brook - all are great. The only bad one is Moosilauke.

Rode Bear Notch/Kanc last week and both were in great shape. Must nicer than the local roads where I live.

Bear Notch is great. Kanc has some sections with construction.
