So, what is the average retirement age of a downhill mountain biker? 23?

Seriously impressive -- but seems like ridiculously dangerous at that speed with those obstacles/hazards.

Can't answer that, Matt, but I know a few guys that are still racing in their 40's and are super fast. I am not one of them.

Wow...that was nuts.

I've seen the DH kids on open ski terrain, which is impressive. But that Whistler / Blackcomb DH stuff is much more dangerous IMO.

Not sure why you guys are making such a big deal of this - it's obviously sped up to about 3x normal speed... ;)
