Anyone have experience with this smootape? See it on eBay very thick stuff

I have the smootape in white on a bike. The thicker version is actually the thin version with an additional layer of material. The second layer could actually be removed if it proved too thick & wanted just the 2.5mm thickness.

It has decent grip with or w/o gloves & doesn't get slippery with sweaty, gloveless hands. It does wrap as advertised but I didn't find that to be a big selling point. Cleans up pretty well, too.

The biggest difference from gel-cork tape is this tape is firm & dense not cushion-y. It works fine out on the road & the smooth wrapped surface looks good but different on the bars.
