Hi. campy novice here.

How do I thread the shifter cable into Campy Record 10 speed shift levers? I'm stumped. Does anyone have a video or picture?

With SRAM I've come to know that the cable goes through the underside of the knob and up and around the knob internals. Doesn't look like that path is available here. Is the cable inserted directly up?

Please explain it to me like I know nothing.

You must downshift all the way. Then insert from bottom.

Downshift all the way. Then up shift 1 or 2 so it's easier to thread the cable through the hole.

Here's one with the hood removed.

Thanks for the pic. Downshift, insert from bottom. Got it. Thanks everyone, very helpful.

Make sure you use a Campagnolo or equivalent cable (smaller end). I put a bit of grease on it to prevent corrosion and having it get stuck.

Trying to remove a cable end after the cable frayed is very, very difficult if you don't do this.

If using Shimano cables I file the head down so it fits loosely. I use anti-seize regardless.
