Thinking of getting the new Shimano 105 11 speed grouppo. Who has been riding it and what's the verdict? Good enough or should just go Ultegra 11 speed?
I bought an Ultegra 11 speed groupset few months ago but ended up selling it (needed the money) before I was even able to use it. So looking at buying the 105, well, because it's a cheaper ticket to 11 speed. Please post pics of your bike/s with 105 11 speed too.
Thanks!

105 has historically better than 'good enough'. other than group weight and maybe materials or finish, it should be almost indiscernible from ultegra in use.
shimano's pretty awesome about trickle down.

Ordered a kit a week ago, yet to see it. Or even get a tracking number

A Few around here actually received one but it didn't seem like it was ever to be actually used (?)

No reviews either but I can assure you it will work better than the ScRAM currently on my whip if shiny bike ever bothers to send it. Doofus city there, May have made a mistake. Shiny bike is flakey

"Are they calling it shimano 5800 now? "

no more than dura ace is being called 9000 or ultegra being called 6800..
i have a silver 5800 groupset it has "105" stamped all over it...so its still 105 imo

Yeah, I mean, saw a thread about 105 11 speed on sale at Ribble and few folks actually ordered and received them but no ride reports yet...
