Seems a lot of stems have slightly radiused edges at the top and bottom of the steerer clamp (Zipp Beyond Black). And many, if not all, headset spacers have completely squared off edges. And where the spacer and the stem clamp meet can look a little less than smooth. Know what I mean? Does anyone make a headset spacer that has a narrower radius at the top than at the bottom? This would be for a normal full height external headset.

I think maybe Dave Kirk turned some custom ones like this.

Yes, I found one from Cannondale, a 5mm tapered spacer that smooths the transition from a CK headset to a Fizik stem. Ebay should have them.

Salsa conical, discontinued tho.
Look conical, might get one from LookUSA.
Cannondale, as mentioned above.
Custom, someone had a custom ti spacer turned down to match the stem diameter. Firefly maybe?

I know there are bunch meant to be used with internal headsets, but have not seen one for use with external.

might be a long shot for you but id look into tracking someone down who could turn something up a lathe for you. Ken @ Zodiac Engineering used to small custom stuff like that, but no more i believe

Found another. Unfortunately you have to buy the bundle, but at least they aren't expensive ($6). Black, silver, pewter options.

(Pardon the thread resurrection...)

Just saw these from Paragon Machine Works. They look really nice, have one on the way.
