ST Bearing Lifetime & Replacement

Apologies if this has been addressed previously (yes, I searched).

My Big O ST is creaking in the rear. The frame probably has 20,000 mi on it. I weigh around 190.

Does anyone have a guesstimate of the expected life of the ST bearings? I should say that I'm not sure it is the bearing(s), but I've eliminated a few things and the noise is still there.

What tool is required to remove the fastener?

Does anyone have a specification for the bearing?

Has this all be covered in this forum previously? If so, links would be appreciated.

As it happens I don't think it is the bearing but they will need service eventually, so this is great info to have.
