I'm selling this 2013 Focus Mares CX (Medium/54cm) full carbon cross frameset or complete. It has one season of racing, and a couple gravel road rides on it (like the Hopper).

I took lots of pics, so here's the Flickr album: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk1n79mX

Complete bike with Shimano 105 shifters/derailleurs, Mavic Askium wheels and Ritchey tires for $1600 complete. - SOLD

or with the Roval Fusee wheels (in some pics) for $1750,
or with a set of Easton EA70x cyclocross tubulars for $1850.
Both of these wheelsets will come with Specialized Tracer tires (w/latex tubes, or tubulars respectively), which are great for racing in NorCal.

I have way too much cross stuff and need to sell one of my three bikes. Get a great deal, and get ready for 'cross season! Local pickup strongly preferred, but will ship at buyer's expense.

Cheers,
Hong

Bummer it's not disc specific.

Any idea what it weighed when it was built up as pictured?

I just weighed it on the Park DS-1, without the chain at 18lbs 15oz. It not a superlight build, but that's a very raceable weight. Going to finish cabling it up today, add the chain and bar tape.

I have the same bike but a 2012. Built with Athena and Stan's 340 wheels, my bike weighs a shade over 17 lb.

Bottom bracket drop is more like a road bike at 7.0cm. I use mine for roads as well and it handles well. Really comfy over the rough stuff too.

Only nit is very short headtube.

Great one bike solution. I got my frameset for the same price as the OP , which is a steal for the quality of this frameset (made in Germany too).

If this was my size, I would have jumped on it.

Thanks for the feedback. I could definitely build this up lighter, but was just using stuff I had in the parts bin. It's likely around 17.5lbs with the Easton's.

Complete bike was sold, but I still have the race wheels available if anyone needs a set. Cross season is starting soon!
