the seller claims the frame for sale was built with lugs and then fillet brazed over. really?

'Tis wierd. The fork has a normal lug-style fork crown. I am not a builder (though I would like to be, and play one on TV [an HD LCD TV at that]) but I can see no evidence there there are lugs under any of that paint and/or filler.

Seems like an interesting frame though.

Mr. Fixed,

Click on the link.

PS, I just flew with a brother captain the other day. I have known him for a couple years. He lives in Palm Beach, Florida and is one of the funnest guys I have even flown with. Not a dull moment. And one of the top 5 best pilots I have ever flown with. Normally I think I am better than the captains I fly with, but not with him. He's is solid. Sorry for the digression.

Who's she flying with? I used to fly to New York all the time, both La Guardia and JFK and Newark and White Plains. But now only La Guardia. The bar at the hotel in La Guardia is solid!!!!

Many Years ago the good folks at Jamis made a mountain bike that was TIG welded and then fillet brazed over the TIG. They literally claimed it was the best of both worlds.

I suppose that if it's hooked together with two methods then it's bound to be twice as stong and therefore twice as good. Call you Jamis dealer today.......don't delay!
