I had such a good time participating last year, i was hoping there could be a Paceline League this season. I have no idea how to set up a league. Are there plans this season? If so, count me in!

Alright, someone posted a comment on how fun it's been in the past and reminded me it's time to get the league started again.

We will have up to 12 teams. No more. Preferably 10 to keep the free agent pool juicy.

If you're interested in participating this year please pm me your email address and your yahoo id. If you don't have a yahoo id you'll need to register for one.

For ease of management the league will be am auto draft league but you can prioritize players to focus the auto draft on the players you'd like to draft.

Our league is full. I'll be sending out the formal league invites from our Yahoo league site. Expect an email soon. I will be emailing league details such as how points will be calculated.

Also, as we did last year, and if everyone is still up for it, everyone will be expected to contribute a cycling related item to be included in the "Box O' Swag" that the winner of the league will take as a prize. I collected the items last year and mailed to the winner at the end of the season. We can handle most of these details via email / league correspondence.

I've been meaning to get this email out for some time but the holidays were just too fun :) and got in the way. Congrats to Robabank for finishing in the top spot. Vonruden and Cheng's Team round out the top 3.

Seriously though, Robabank and VonRuden were clearly the top two teams. It was them and everyone else. How did those two teams get so stacked! I thought I was paying attention to the waiver wire too!

Although I was lucky that Doghouse had mostly Patriots and for some odd reason they struggle against the Jets. I'd say it was mostly luck I even made it to the playoffs. I had the 8th highest scored for and the lower scored against.

Yes, fantasy football was pretty fun. Count me in for next season too. It's best to organize and do the draft just before the real season so you can go from the draft right to watching the games and keeping score on everybody's players and teams.

They need as many eye balls to watch their ads as possible. More traffic = more money. Deal with Verizon is at stake, I think. They're going down the tubes, so why not get people into Fantasy football in April :)

Maybe next year, we can aim for a 14-person league? This could make the league more interesting in that it would require managers to trade players rather than rely on the waiver wire.

Was a competitive year in the league. I doubled down on the patriots with Brandin Cooks, Mike Gillislee and the Patriot's DST.

If I had abandoned the DST after week 1, I think I'd have won 2 more games and been in the play offs. :)

I’ve done 14 once. People ended up not trading as much as we would have liked and most teams were stuck with what they had drafted. It was kind of a bust.

I know there was some interest last year in doing a custom draft order. Specifically, the teams that finished the season without making the play-offs would get the top 6 draft picks (randomly drawn), and the teams that made the play offs would get the bottom 6 draft spots (either randomly drawn, or in reverse finishing order).
