So is Riis staying for 2015? If so, I wonder how he will like Oleg in his knickers, all the time.

he's going to be awfully isolated in the Classics (just like he was at Cannondale) but hopefully he can mature as a rider

Eh... Karsten Kroon, Matteo Tossato, Matti Breschel, and a sprinkling of Mick Rodgers - It's not OPQS, but it's a capable Classics squad.

Tinkov said he had the money to burn & he's proving it. Sagan won't be isolated by the time the boss closes the check book...

He will have better support with saxo IMO, a lot of strong guys in the team.

I think Peter needs a team that can support him but also focus him. He's never going to win in a toe-to-toe sprint with Kittel, Cav, Greipel, etc. This year's tour was frustrating for him in that respect. But does that mean he'll be happy to take the Green Jersey every year if it means mostly finishing on the second or third podium step? Or will be follow in Boonen's footsteps and become a strong (but not dominant) sprinter who can crush people on the cobbles?

How do you build a team to support him until you know what you're supporting him to do?

Sagan wit Riis as DS will be a devastating combo.

How is Sagan/Contador going to turn out any different than Wiggins/Cav.

Going after both jerseys is challenged.

Sagan is not like cav, sagan doesnt need lead out train at all. he can climb way better than cav, he can pull. Sagan is way more complete as a rider than cav, and sagan can do a lot of stuff alone, probably due to his cx backgound.

Saxo did not have a classic riders, and that's what they are looking for in sagan, a dude that can win those races that Contador can't. Now with majka, sagan and the dude that is suspended the team looks more rounded and being able to win in the classics, short stage races and long stage races.

The other thing is that since contador doesnt go to the classics, contador and sagan will have maybe a totally different calendar being maybe the TdF one of the only races we will see them together. Honestly even being together I doubt they will have those head bangs that cav got in Sky, where cav couldnt race w/o lead out train. IMO a big flaw for a sprinter.

Contador will move on. He may have 1 TdF with Sagan.
