People are debating the square taper, isis, and octa-link earlier today. I want to know what people think about the new 2 piece cranks. Everyone seems to be jumping to them except for Campy. I know rumors have them possibly up to something.
Are/would the 2 piece be better for clydesdales? Is the idea not supposed to be for more crank stiffness and less stress on the bearings?
I have tried several of the designs, Shimano, Race Face and FSA. I think they are easy enough to utilize, but is there a benefit, or simply marketing?
