I'm sure I'm too late, but I'd buy that right now.

Anyone want to facilitate? :)

Hubs are Mirage, still a decent deal though.

heard back from seller, posting is response below.

There was a misprint in the CL which I keep forgetting to correct. I'm actually asking 1575 for the complete bike.

Thank you for your interest.

Considering the wheels this isn't much of a deal anymore.

This one in D.C. is much better equipped with Record and Neutrons, he has lowererd the price a couple of times, I bet he'd take 16

Received email from seller:
Dear Nicolas,

Are you still interested in the Italian Colnago bike? Yesterday, I received an offer from a bike collector. Apparently, the rims or wheels are very valuable. ·This collector was only interested in the wheels which he purchased this morning. So, I still have a complete bike and parts to sell. A friend did me a favor and swapped out the Chorus shifters and derailleurs for Record 10 which are obviously more valuable. He did this to help me sell the bike as he knows I need the funds for my upcoming wedding. In any case, I would like to know if you would like to buy the C40 frame, fork, seat stick, seat and campagnolo record 10 drivetrain for $900.·

Again, I appreciate your interest.

He told me that the hubs were Mirage and the rims were Mavic MA3s

I think it works to most people's advantage if its the right fit.

Tbh $900 for a C40 with campy 10 is a sweet deal. If it was two size smaller it would be mine.

Hope this one join the PL community :)

Have a busy day today but will be in the area. If I can hook up with the seller I'll take a look at it. Don't know anything about campy what should I look for.

I exchanged several text messages with the Los Angeles seller and as of Thursday he was willing to let it go for the posted $1275. Not sure how youcan have typo in a craigslist ad when you have put the ad together. I have his cell number if anyone wants to pursue it although the communication was a bit strange.
