Man I put on some new Rubino Pros and 3 flats in two rides. Interesting an lucky all of them showed up after I got home.

They seem to be unrelated. One piece of wire through a tire, one rim with tape pushed over and the sharp spoke whole working at the tube etc.

Since I ran out of my normal tubes I had to use some 28-32 tubes but my tires are 28 so they are fine.

I normally run a 23-25ish tube no matter what but I wonder if using the bigger and heavier tube will add up to less fragility?

What are your experiences?

I have never noticed the difference.

That's some bad luck. I broke two spokes on two different wheels in one week doing nothing but riding on flat smooth pavement. The Bike God's must be angry.

I've had a rash of flats lately too.

Are Latex tubes a better bet ?
