For the last few years I've been rolling on 700x25 tires and never looked back, however I've lost 60 lbs and the same tires that felt good before feel like overstuffed marshmallows. I don't want to invest much in a set of tires in case I realize that the 25s are better and its just all in my head. So I'm looking for a reasonably light folding bead 700x23 tire. I usually ride Michelin but whatever. Lightly used would be great to keep the price down. Let me know what you have.

Thanks
Matt

I have some Kenda kevlar bead tires I took off of a new bike. I think I rolled down the street and back, so they have 200 ft on them. :) I believe either the Koncept or Kontender model. I think they weighed in at 220g.

$30 shipped?

Have you tried adjusting the tire pressure of your 25's for your new weight?

i feel like this isn't a great experiment, you should ride the same tires on 23's as you do on 25's so there's only one variable changing.

maybe veloflex's in a 22 feel super plush, but if you start off with a conti ultra sport - you might swear off them entirely without trying 'the good stuff.'

Hi, I have a pair of Vittoria Open Corsa EVO Slick in 700x23 size that are still new and unused. I would sell them for $60 for the pair shipped.

Well... I have quite a few different foldable tires stacked in the basement. Almost all of them are 700x23c

Specialized S-Works, Bontrager Race Lite, Vittoria Open Corsa even a couple Hutchinson tubeless.

All my wheels currently are Tubulars so I have no need for them.

If any interest PM me and I can let you know

The climbing is great. I used to use Michelin krylion carbons in 25 I found them on sale for 30 a piece in 23 do you think that would be a better idea than trying something I've never used before?
