Okay. So lots of new rigs come out all them time, and generally I'm not oohed and ahhhed. But this new rig form Look looks just straight wicked.
What say you?

I think they really nailed the paint job on this... that's one mean bike.

That is just a little garish.

I didn't know the high-end Looks are made in Tunisia. Are any models still made in France?

Im not quite ready for the seat tube being thicker than the top tube.

Should remake the 585/595 and watch the revenue flow!

That's an amazing engineering feat.

those brakes are wild! But when Look has to create something like this to "compete with the best available — bikes like Cervelo’s S3, the BMC TMR01, and Felt’s AR series" makes me wonder what those other bikes already have.

thanks for sharing that though.

This article (http://www.bikerumor.com/2014/07/28/look-795-aerolight-road-bike-cuts-drags-grams-ups-the-integration/) discusses the engineering niceties of it in detail. Personally, while I don't find it beautiful, I do admire its singularity of purpose and, presumably, fitness for racing.

And I thought Spec******d had cornered the market in pig ugly bikes. Clearly they have serious competition.

That bike would look awesome if Look had 'Le courage' to give it a horizontal top tube. I mean... it's a race-specific machine, no?

I know, I know.... but I didn't wanna take the time to fix the bars and photoshop in Campagnolo ;)

The Phibra is sweet. I'm building a KG-196 which only makes me appreciate straight top-tubes more.

Bravo to Look for pushing limits, but it seems that they've lost their way a bit with the last couple of models that they've released. None of them could be considered timeless masterpieces like their older bikes. That's too bad.

Should remake the 585/595 and watch the revenue flow!

I'm sure that they still have the tooling. A run of about 500 units a year should suffice. Call them the Look "Classic Series" or something like that.

I would love to see a run of steel bikes. Make them look like the old ones but with a 1 1/8th headtube and clearance for 28s (if it didn't already)

Except for the stem....and crappy brakes...and ashtabula crank/unique to this frame BB bearings and seatmast...yep, I'd say it's kool...

The aero fairing behind the steer tube and integrated brakes looks pretty cool the more you see it. Like most new designs, just takes some getting used to. Certain that both of these features provide aero benefit when we all do our weekend time trialing events at 38 mph average speeds ;)

A little nicer aesthetic with the non oversize post with their earlier design a couple years ago, imho

that photoshop/drop just triggered a back spasm.

That would be common and easy for the pros. Look at Hansen's bike below, or Hesjedals.

This is the issue. They don't make racing bikes for racers anymore.

Again, I didn't 'shop the bars and levers. It'd look pretty standard if I had. Looks nicer and faster the 'shopped way too. The actual bike is completely fasterbackwards.

Exactly what I was going to say. Looks great with a level top tube. I could (also) live without the integrated brakes.

I think they nailed the paint job, too. Liked the 695 a little better, though.

I like pretty much everything except the stem. Just disrupts the "look" of the bike too much for me.
