When you are Meredith Miller who just signed a deal with Noosa Yogurt as the lead sponsor for a new cyclocross team that includes Alan Krughof.

Focus Bicycles is the equipment supplier.

I am guessing it will be Rapha kit as she is a Rapha Ambassador to women's cycling.

She is a strong rider and a real class act. Good for her!

When you walk away from your profession of 35 years to go work in a bike shop!

Gabby would be a great addition.

I think there are still a couple of the U23 California giant Strawberry boys hanging around.

This might get REALLY interesting (I hope).

Did exactly that -- 35 years in corporate world, retired @56 a bit more than three years ago. LBS manager (excellent store) is a friend who worked on me for a while to come work for him. Told him I didn't want to do a mgt role, and would work very limited hours. Built bikes for a season and a half, then decided some HS kids needed jobs like that more then me so stepped away as my consulting work ramped up. (My son says I suck at retirement:))

I do regret giving up the pro deal/employee buys, but my friend is pretty sharp -- working there I spent more than I made

LOL! Probably the response I'd get from my wife. Occasionally I mention stepping away from my career to become a barista (my other passion), and I get some major stink eye.

Has she seen your heart-shaped froth, though?
