Cool pics.

Jerk, I do not think at anypoint you were outta line. I willl come right out and say that sometimes some of your posts piss me off (in that warm fuzzy way) but mostly because most of us here are a bit headstrong, even more so behind the keyboard.... However, in stating your opinion in to what has become a factor that has changed the perception of Serotta to many people, you spoke in an even tone and laid out your opinion.

Your posts are not why any thread got pulled and there is no reason not to be here.

The pics only tell part of the story. The marketing story.

Look at a Campagnolo catalog and see how shiny the lower end stuff is. Then look at the lower end stuff in real life. Ain't the same. Lower end Shimano stuff works better than lower end Campagno IMHO.

I think about 99% of product managers agree with you.
Ever try to find a bike in North America that's spec'd with
low end campy? Don't bother, they ain't there.

Entry level recreational bicyclists...low cost but reliable bicycles and repair parts... Tiagra components fit the need perfectly...

This makes the $800 +/- market much more attactive.... MUCH more attractive.
