So I have been fortunate to do some traveling this year with my new unit. Late last year I was in Alaska fighting off the -46 degree weather. This is the coldest temperatures I've ever been in. It was cool but not much riding when in these kinds of conditions with the gear that I had. Lucky for me I got to go back. Being a tanker/cargo plane I brought my bike. While I don't have many picture from Alaska I can tell you that we had 21 hours of sun light and I loved every minute of being there. Accompanying me was my S&S Waltworks 29er. Riding was absolutely amazing and the people were just awesome.

After that I was sent up to Yokota AB in main land Japan. Its only a 2.5 hour train ride to Tokyo but my little off time was spent on my trusty 29er. It amazed me the differences between Okinawa and main land. It was almost like Okinawa was a totally different country. The scenery, culture and people were that different.

Looks like the rest of the summer will be spent on the road as well so I wanted to start a thread that I can dump some cool pictures of the places and the riding I'm doing. Maybe this time I'll remember to take picture of more than just air planes. Anyway here are some of the cooler ones. I'll dig through the rest of the pictures and find some more but this is just a few that caught my eye. Enjoy.

Cool. Was that a loadmaster-approved bungee cord configuration on the bike? ;)
