please note the "muffler" made out of a can of brake cleaner.

...and no main drive chain?

I actually applaud the builder. We see a lot of these here in the Valley of the (caustic and unremitting) Sun. Almost all of them are some Chinese brand and not home built.

...dude needs a "coal roller" switch in case someone gets the wild hair to motorpace.

With all that time building it you'd think that they would have a better saddle .
I wonder who rides this ?

...and no main drive chain?

I'm confused by this contraption. It looks like the motor powers the cranks, yikes! But I don't see how it drives the rear wheel. And no rear brake?

Early prototype for Fabian's 2010 paris-roubaix bike?

Is this is in front of a place that sells chains?
They've got the rear mech hooked up...maybe.
Nice fab job on the top tube, guessing a shorter rider.

I've seen these ran off the rear tire.
If only we could've gotten a drive side shot!

Wasn't there a thread about stolen saddles recently...nobody's taking that one.

when I was a kid, in the early 60's, another kid up the road had one of these...looks not unlike the home-built you saw..

Looks like something from a Mad Max movie.

Here's the one I covet: http://www.bonanza.com/items/like/131268233/Giants-motorized-bike-whizzer-bicycle-80cc-motor-beach-cruiser-mlb-baseball

It looks to me like the chain from the motor drives the one of the chainrings and the other chainring works normally.

Sweet rear der cable routing too.

There is no chain connecting the chainring to the rear wheel. Nor does there appear to be any friction drive in contact with a tire. No visible means of propulsion.

I can definitely get more of those kits:

Anyone want to become my US rep?

I didn't say it wasn't broken....
