Shipping wheels: together or individually?

I've always shipped wheelsets in a single box, but someone told me recently that it was cheaper to send two separate boxes. Anyone know if this is true? I'm getting ready to send out some 700c road wheels.

The problem is the size, if you get the wrong box (too big) you will pay for the next tear. Anybody knows the size of the perfect box?? Put the kind'a wheels diagonally just in case.

Two boxes is usually a bit cheaper. 25x25x6 or so. Much above that and you bump into the next pricing tier.
