'Tis a shame. I have always been an avid TG/FinalGear guy. I can't help but see this as short-sighted on the part of the BBC. I started downloading TG via FG/Torrent years before it was available on BBC America, and in doing so became a huge fan of the show. TG is one of the most-watched shows in the world. I imagine a fair percentage of that viewership is technically illegal and consists of people who were getting the show through FinalGear.

Even now the version on BBC America is notably inferior than the UK show, in that it is edited for time to accommodate commercials, and doesn't include the music used in the UK version (presumably because they didn't want to pay to clear the songs in the US). Accordingly I imagine many Americans will continue downloading the show via Torrent rather than watching it even though they have cable/dish service that includes BBC America.

Sad, isn't it? Just running out of steam or ideas? Still a fan but my expectations for each season definitively going down.
