I bought a close out mtn bike frame from CC this spring at 50% off. Niner Carbon Air 9 RDO from 2012. Their sister company Backcountry.com later listed the same frame for an additional 20% off. My frame was still boxed at the time. I called up Backcountry.com and explained my case. I had the bike for about 2.5 weeks before noticing the better pricing. They without any hassle credited my card the difference. $200 dollar phone calls are nice.

I made the same mistake. I had though about calling, but by the next day they were out of my size. Congrats to all you guys who wear TIRs!

If you give them a call they'll usually give you the discount. CC has great customer service, I have nothing but good things to say about them

This happened with a Search and State rain jacket on CC a month or so ago that was up for something insane like 50 or 60 percent off and then the next day back to something reasonable. I kicked myself for not buying it at the time.
