I want to mount a camera(s) on my road bike. Ideally I want to film simultaneously forward and back. In the event of a problem I want to capture the "evidence" on film.

Are there any cameras that film front and back a the same time? If not should I buy just one camera? Should I mount it looking back or forward?

What cameras have integrated GPS so one can identify exactly where something was filmed?

I think you'll have to wait for one of the centr/bubl/girooptic camera to breakthrough to get what you really want in terms of front/back recording.

This does look promising for a black box type camera(they have a front back kit):

GoPros don't really have enough battery life to use for an entire ride, unless it's short.

I get 3 hours, easy, with my GoPro.

I think the Garmin has built in GPS. However, if you're riding in the city, probably not a big issue. I think you'll need two separate cameras.

That's really good. I get less than 120min with:
Hero HD 3+ on 1080p/60fps
Hero HD 2 on 720p/60fps.

Maybe the lower res/ lower fps modes have much better battery life.

The rideeye claims 15hr battery life. Enough for something like a century.
