I'm not one for talking smack. But now WOULD be the time.

Thinking Cavendish's early exit is going to dash some hopes, at least for the next week or so. Although I think he's not the sure bet he was 3 years ago...

I have a fantasy that I am my own Team Leader

League Name: paceline
League Code: 29003911

^ The league for PL.

I'm like the death knell for any rider I pick. Cav vs Kittel. After the Giro fiasco (I chose Kittel) I went with Cav. Of course.

I hope for their sakes that the other riders I picked do okay.

Apart from Kittel I didnt expect to pick up any points yet -- but day 2 was an amazing race, from Greg van Avermaet leading like it was a spring classic, then a small climb with all the big guns, then Sagan, then Nibali! the whole spectrum of racing in one single stage :)

All I care about is beating Ultraman :) :)

Well, my team is sucking as is usual when I forget to pick Kittel. d'oh!

Does anyone know what the cut off time was today? My pick of Janier Acevedo is looking suspect -- he finished 32 minutes back, in last place.

As much as I don't like him, I had Froome. Unless Kittel learns to climb and can take every stage from here out, I think I'm sunk.

I am sitting in 3rd right now, actually made some good picks for once.

Kinda of hate to see Froome out if it already but man what a stage.

Whine on, I lost Jesus Hernandez and Xabier Zandio yesterday. Whine off.

Didn't have Froome though.

talansky, van garderen, and van den broek all hit the deck today. they all finished, though. hopefully none are injured, especially with mountain stages looming.

Lost Hernandez as well, should have done kwiatkowski and Sagan or kittel instead of Cavendish and gerrans...

I missed the Velogames deadline due to vacation but did the NBC fantasy challenge with my wife. My team sucks (doomed with Froome) but the wife is sitting six overall. She is now madly reading rider profiles to make sure she has the best line-up and is glued to the TV as soon as the race starts. I am loving it. Now if I could just get her to ride her bike.

Nice...a friend I think I introduced to VG was 1st overall for two stages, and now is 6th...sigh.

6th is one better than 7th.

for the peeps that entered the KOM competition as well, today it's a rest day meaning you can make a few changes to the team!!!

Which of the garmin/sky/tinkoff/trek/bmc domestiques will go for a big stage win in the next few days ?
