Climb,

I have always been this way. With or without an alarm I am up by 5:30. In the summer it is great. I get in a morning ride before my wife and kids wake up at 9. In the winter it is too cold to go out and I can only tolerate the trainer for 1 - 1 and 1/2 hours. So I read the forum before I hit the trainer.

I lived through the puppy years. It does get better. I now have the broken in model. She is 11 and has an 18 hour bladder.

It is supposed to hit 45 here later today. But we have the circus at 11 and St. Pat's dinner at my mothers at 3. So I will be on the trainer by 7:30. But I hope that you enjoy your ride outside.

i'll think of you. hope your mom's a good cook! my mom has spent her whole life in the south. so if she's cooking ham and black-eyed peas, she rocks. but its when she gets adventurous, and tries french or italian or god forbid chinese, watch out. but since its st paddy's, i'm guessing your mom goes pretty traditional.

The Irish can't cook either. My mother is doing the usual corned beef and cabbage. Cooking for the kids and grandkids. Five kids under the age of 7 is interesting to say the least.
