Thought I share this Velonews article. I posted about my friend Vic losing his life in a Velodrome accident in Colorado Springs 3 weeks ago as well as an update about Kirsten racing at Junior Nats. Here is an article about his daughter's recent triumph at Junior Nationals this last week. She not only won, but dominated the even. Tremendous courage and perseverance in the face of incredible adversity. Amazing!

Wow. I could not have gotten back on that Velodrome. That's what her dad woulda wanted.

bitter sweet. She's thrilled for her accomplishments but wishing her dad could be there to celebrate. It's got to be tough all the way around.
Congrats to her. I know he's a proud father.
