I read that it is ideal and efficient to keep your center of gravity over the ideal pedal stroke which is a line between 1.30 and 5.20 (on RHS pedal).
I am trying to picture this line and ask for clarification on this one.

That's seems a somewhat simplistic description. Can you tell us where you read this? Maybe there's more to the story in the full article.

Certainly true if you're out of the saddle. No sense putting lots of weight on your hands when you're out of the saddle. Much better to get all your body weight going onto the pedals.
That said, I'm not a fit expert and I think there are other considerations for the bike fit when you're sitting on the saddle.
